In 2013, German artist Daniel Richter teamed up with filmmakers Lucía Palacios and Dietmar Post on a successful crowdfunding campaign to help fund their documentary "Franco's Settlers". Richter created four large-format silkscreen prints featuring the face of Franco, which were offered as rewards to backers.
For their second film on the Spanish dictatorship, "Franco on Trial", the filmmakers once again selected one of Richter's motifs as the central image for the poster.
Richter has also painted the motifs for the posters of three other films by Lucía Palacios and Dietmar Post:
"Monks: The Transatlantic Feedback"
"Klangbad: Avant-Garde in the Meadows"
"German Pop & Circumstance"
