Gods Gift: The Greatest Story Ever Told
"Rob Hall took over from Laura by this time. Most of the recordings were made at Graveyard Studios. The Engineer was expecting us to record two tracks and was horrified when we did 7/8. Virtually all are live and one take. As the recording progressed, the Engineer (Stuart) almost became accepting of the insanity and helped us get a really disturbing track that was Insult to Injury. He understood what we wanted with our pre-recorded tapes and long echo on the drums. There are a couple of other tracks recorded at Frank Ewarts Loft Studio too. The Cassette title was from the religious exploration film of the same name. Mike Turner did a great job of the cover. Living Corpse was our nod to the Velvets Heroin track."
