In this visually captivating documentary film—brimming with rare, never-before-seen live performances, archival video clips, vintage newspaper clippings, and evocative photographs—filmmaker Dietmar Post sits down for an intimate and revealing conversation with Mona Mur, delving deep into her artistic evolution, fearless creative defiance, and the complex realities of navigating the ever-shifting landscape of the music industry.

Born in Hamburg, Mona Mur emerged from the German underground of the early 1980s, blending post-punk, industrial, and electronic music with a bold pop sensibility. Collaborating with artists like FM Einheit, Alexander Hacke (Einstürzende Neubauten), Dieter Meier (Yello), and The Stranglers' J.J. Burnel, she crafted a distinctive sound. Beyond music, she has worked in film and game composition.
