ABOUT THIS RECORD

Gabi Delgado (DAF, DELKOM, DAF DOS) and Marc Hurtado (ETANT DONNES, SOL IXENT) founded the project NEUE WELTUMFASSENDE RESISTANCE in 2004.

They recorded numerous titles together until 2018 and gave two concerts at the IDEAL festivals in Nantes and LUFF in Lausanne in 2006.

The particular work of NWR is based on the exchange of music and poetry between Gabi Delgado and Marc Hurtado established in the form of dialogues on electronic cards between Germany, Spain and France. A sort of 360° cinematic journey, at the speed of light, carried away in grace, madness, fire and the kaleidoscopic whirlwind of the telescoping of two artists' burning souls.

One gives the music, the other gives the voice, the opposite or both at the same time, there is no rule or established plan established in the development and constant creation between these two artists, just a fierce desire for total freedom, a movement of cosmic and poetic resistance.

They joined in 2007 in Berlin then in 2014 and 2018 in Córdoba to unite their forces in the mixing of their work, a moment of sealing and construction of a building whose stones had been cut and refined like real diamonds for years.

Gabi Delgado left us too early in 2020 but twenty years after the creation of the project appears the first album entitled «Neue Weltumfassende Resistance» which is the first step in the fight for freedom of Gabi Delgado and Marc Hurtado’s golden alliance.
